We’re testing weapons detection technology for the next 12 months at busy stations — and started at the C Line’s Norwalk Station on Monday. Watch the vid to see what it looks like. The goal is to see if weapons detection systems can provide another layer to our public safety work that also includes the installation of modern fare gates, more uniformed staff on the system and connecting riders to social services. We tested systems last year and the Metro Board in February approved a motion to ext
