A beaver was spotted swimming in the Potomac River as the sun rose over the National Mall in Washington D.C. on Thursday morning. Video posted on X by Jeanne McVey (@RiverGirl707), a resident who regularly shares videos of weather and wildlife along local waterways, shows the beaver cruising in the water next to Arlington Memorial Bridge.
