Lee (Collinson) Brilleaux led 70s British pub rock outfit Dr Feelgood from their industrial Canvey Island origins until his death 31 years ago. In his wedding suits, spiv vibe and wild man stage persona, Brilleaux was the perfect frontman for a grungy RnB outfit, and for a period they were a hugely popular live act. Lee also helped found Stiff Records, which launched countless new wave bands. He was just 41 when he succumbed to lymphoma. RIP | Marking Time
