Following the Philip R Clarke we got to see the Stewart J Cort tonight, on her way to Superior, WI to load some more iron ore... She was beautifully lit and looking wonderful! No salute tonight but no matter we get to see her silently glide by on this peaceful evening I seem to be taking more videos again this year rather than getting photos... For Video #5 today, it’s the arrival of the Stewart J Cort for Engineer’s Day and they were looking amazing! They are loaded with iron ore and bound for Burns Harbor, their usual destination It was great to have the first thousand footer ever built here in town for EDay and add to that the fact that she’s the only one that’s a Pilothouse forward design and her uniqueness made it even more perfect for her to be here I got a second video of them as they left so stay tuned for that next! | DRE Desi
