Westland Lysander Mk.IIIA | V9723 The aircraft's actual original serial is V9546. It was registered on the British civil aircraft register as G-LYZY in December 2024. It is painted to represent V9723, a famous Lysander of No. 161 Squadron, which was used for clandestine Special Operations Executive (SOE) missions into occupied France during WWII. It features the distinctive matte black undersides used for night-time "special duties". The aircraft was acquired from the Sabena Old Timers Foundatio
