Harpo’s little “woof” got me every time. He didn’t do it often, as it was a sign of dissatisfaction, and he was a very happy and satisfied cat. Generally it was because he was more wound up than usual and I was more shut down than usual, and he so he felt like my expression of enthusiasm was insufficient.
