Ty Simpson (born December 21, 2002) is an American football quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Simpson grew up in Martin, Tennessee and attended Westview High School. [1] . He passed for 1,888 yards and 20 touchdowns while also rushing for 311 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. [2] .

Ty was ranked the #1 quarterback in the country by On3 Consensus and a five-star quarterback on the 247 Composite Rankings. He led Westview High School to the Tennessee State Football Championship in 2021 and was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year.
