And computer models were hinting Thursday that more significant snow is possible Sunday when the Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams in an NFL playoff game, to be followed by a vigorous cold spell as a Siberian air mass overtakes much of the nation, complete more snow chances.

There could be snow falling on Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round of the playoffs. The forecast is calling for frigid temperatures and possible snow when the two teams kick off at 3 p.

The Eagles will host the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday afternoon with a 3:00 p.m. kickoff. Cold weather can always be a factor in the postseason, an inherent advantage for the Birds when hosting a West Coast team.

The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings, winter storm advisories and "hazardous weather outlooks" that affect much of Pennsylvania.

Light snow will arrive Thursday afternoon into the evening in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, according to area forecasters. The National Weather Service is predicting less than an inch of snow but does acknowledge the possibility of 1-2 inches of accumulation in some areas.

The Houston area is seeing an increasing chance that a mix of wintry precipitation—including snow—is headed in its direction. Space City Weather meteorologist Eric Berger said there is a growing possibility (about a 50-50 chance) of snow or sleet beginning next Monday night and Tuesday.
