French police are investigating the death of a popular streamer, who died during a nearly 12-day live stream after apparently suffering abusive and humiliating treatment.

The news of Jeanpormanove’s death has shocked the streaming community. The 46-year-old, whose real name was Raphaël Graven, passed away in a residence near Nice. His death has sparked a criminal investigation and judicial review.

Raphaël Graven, also known as Jean Pormanove, was found dead at a residence in Contes, a village north of Nice, prosecutors said.
