Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi knows he got a good one in Cam Ward. The Miami quarterback was the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft and the Titans were thrilled to get him. Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer published an article on Monday detailing the process the Titans went through to decide on selecting Ward.

The 23-year-old, a native of Camdenton, finished his final season at SEMO with 4,073 passing yards and 33 touchdowns, both of which led the Ohio Valley Conference. His 6-5, 230 pound frame could also play a factor in how willing the Chiefs are to give him a chance.
