Western Michigan University's Broncos took on the Miami of Ohio Redhawks for the Mid-American Conference Championship on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Ford Field.

The Miami Redhawks and Western Michigan Broncos meet Saturday in the Mid-American Conference championship game. Kickoff in Detroit, is at noon ET.

Evan Ipsaro’s 24 points helped Miami (OH) defeat Maine 93-61 on Saturday. Ipsaro added three steals for the RedHawks (7-0). Eian Elmer scored 16 points and added six rebounds and three steals. Almar Atlason went 3 of 6 from the field (2 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 10 points.

Miami University football players Jackson Kuwatch and Silas Walters have maintained a strong friendship from their days at Lakota West High School to their current success as redshirt seniors on the RedHawks' defense.
