Angel Reese spent her final two college seasons at LSU, where she helped the Tigers win the first national championship in program history, and blossomed into a first-round WNBA draft pick. While her time in Baton Rouge was successful, she said it wasn't always enjoyable.

While Reese was the center of attention Friday night, she wasn't the only player who suited up for Mulkey's Tigers on the Sky roster. Hailey Van Lith, who played the 2023-24 season at LSU, was recently drafted by the Sky. Van Lith put together a successful season at TCU before making the leap to the WNBA.

Angel Reese made a return to Baton Rouge, stepping back onto the court at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center-this time in a Chicago Sky jersey for an exhibition matchup against the Brazilian National Team.
