USA TODAY College Sports Wire on MSNSophie Cunningham reacts to Indiana Fever rally after injury
Despite her knee injury, Indiana guard Sophie Cunningham shared her reaction to the Fever's thrilling rally to a 99-93 OT win vs. the Connecticut Sun.
With the loss to Indiana, Connecticut dropped to 6-27 on the 2025 WNBA season and was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Sun still have 11 regular-season games left, but the current No. 8 seed, the Seattle Storm, hold 11 more wins at 17-18 and own the head-to-head tiebreaker with a 3-1 record. This puts Connecticut out of reach.
Stephanie White praised her Fever squad for rallying back from the 21-point deficit to beat the Sun 99-93 in overtime on Sunday.
