A 5-year-old girl who fell overboard off a Disney cruise ship reportedly fell backward through a porthole. The investigation is continuing into the incident that happened June 29 as the ship was returning to Fort Lauderdale after a four-day cruise.

The 5-year-old fell overboard when she lost her balance while sitting on a railing and dropped backwards down a porthole, BSO said.

After an unidentified dad saved his young daughter when she fell over the side of a 'Disney Dreams' cruise ship, a rescue team was sent out via boat to pick them up. In viral clips, a woman was seen comforting the girl and now her sister is speaking out.
