MANHATTAN, New York -- The pregnant widow of the NYPD officer killed in last month's Midtown office shooting gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday. Officer Didarul Islam was one of four people fatally shot in the Midtown office building at 345 Park Avenue last month.

The city's police commissioner said baby Arham is one of Detective First Grade Didarul Islam's three children who "will carry forward their father’s legacy."

An NYPD detective who was working security near the Park Avenue building where a madman killed four people had her good name dragged in the mud in the aftermath of the slaughter.

Two of the three people killed in a New York City nightclub shooting early Sunday have been identified as suspected gunmen who opened fire inside the establishment, injuring up to 11 other people, police officials said on Monday.

Police say the officer was standing outside a residential building near West 173rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue around 9:45 p.m. when two men approached him on separate mopeds.
