Rainfall rates of up to two-to-three inches per hour are possible in the impacted areas. The entire Chicago area is either at a "marginal" or "slight" risk of severe weather, with gusty winds in excess of 60 miles per hour and isolated tornadoes possible. A Tornado Warning was issued for Kane County until 4:30 and the entire Chicago area is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch as a line of storms lumbers in from the west Monday afternoon.
