Xbox, Call of Duty and Black Ops

Xbox's next Call of Duty title has just kicked off Gamescom Opening Night Live, with Black Ops 7 finally getting a formal release date. The series' upcoming futuristic entry launches on Xbox Game Pass on November 14th - and we have fresh details of a free beta as well.
Former Xbox executive Mike Ybarra recently said that Battlefield 6 will "boot stomp" Black Ops 7. "The real win here is CoD won’t be lazy anymore, and we'll all get better FPS games for it," he said.
Black Ops 7 has some serious star power behind it, with Milo Ventimiglia and Kiernan Shipka starring in some stunning new images.
An insider leaks the release date for Black Ops 7, reveals that it will not be released on Nintendo Switch 2 at launch: the game will not increase in price.
What has got another confirmation, though, is that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is releasing on November 14 this year. If that date sounds familiar, we reported just the other week that Billbilkun said the same – that came after another prominent leaker offered the same date, too.
