Cincinnati Bengals facing a crossroads on defense
To say that the Cincinnati Bengals are staring at a crossroads in 2026 is probably something of an understatement. Things have been going downhill for the last couple of years, and most of the blame for that falls on the defense.
Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson has now played four games with the Dallas Cowboys since his departure near the NFL trade deadline.
The Cincinnati Bengals activated Shaka Heyward from injured reserve on Friday and he re-joined the 53-man roster. Heyward was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 28 with a fibula injury. He's played in eight games this season.
For starters, if the Bengals lose to the Ravens and drop to 4-10, they will be eliminated from playoff contention, regardless of what they do for the rest of the season. Bhanpuri has their odds at 0% with a loss, as the Ravens or Steelers would win the AFC North.

Ahead of that matchup, the Bengals announced the activation of linebacker Shaka Heyward from injured reserve. Heyward originally went to injured reserve in late October due to a fibula injury. The team designated him to return last Wednesday before officially activating him for Week 15.
