The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) says crews have reopened more than 50 highways as western Washington is still recovering from an atmospheric river that caused historic flooding.

Record river flooding is ongoing in parts of Washington State, but following a drier weekend, a new worry for wetter weather will arise early in the week ahead.
