It's a tremendously fascinating time in Formula One right now. Silly season is in full effect as Max Verstappen flirts with leaving Red Bull for Mercedes while George Russell attempts to keep his seat with the silver arrows. Meanwhile, McLaren remains the best car on the track while Lewis Hamilton tries to make his new ride with Ferrari work out.

As well as Jannik Sinner is playing at Wimbledon, he doesn't appear to need much in the way of help. Still, he got some Saturday when his opponent, Pedro Martinez, was dealing with a problematic shoulder and often put in first serves at so-so speeds.

It took only seven points before the first forlorn shout of "C'mon Pedro" was warmly applauded by a Centre Court crowd who had already seen enough to know that Jannik Sinner was in for an easy Saturday afternoon at Wimbledon.
