Mindy Fire initially started 3:47 p.m. June 29 in Riverside County, California. It has burned 109 acres after being active for three days. As of Wednesday morning, the fire crew managed to contain 99% of this wildfire. The cause is, however, still being investigated.

Cooler temperatures and humidity are helping firefighters fight the fire, which nearly doubled in size since Monday afternoon.

A quickly growing fire in Riverside County torched more than 500 acres of land and prompted evacuation orders on Monday, according to authorities. Dubbed the Juniper Fire, it was initially reported at 11:28 a.m. in unincorporated parts of Perris, near the area of Idaleona and Juniper roads, Cal Fire said .
