James Gunn recently addressed the growing fan speculation surrounding Alan Ritchson as a potential candidate for the DCU’s Batman. In a new interview, he commented on the casting rumors, shared his personal view of Ritchson,

That also informed another recent rumor. Buzz started that Gunn and company were looking for an actress with a primarily TV background to play Wonder Woman, which is in line with their casting of House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock as Supergirl. But, again, Gunn says that’s completely untrue.

Gunn also confirmed there's no truth to any online rumors that DC Studios is currently casting for the role of the Amazon warrior from Themyscira. To that, he simply wrote, "Nope.
