You may not want to hear this, but the new Cracker Barrel logo was designed for the same reasons as the old one.

For the first time in 48 years Cracker Barrel's new logo will stand alone in text. The change is part of the company’s “All the More” campaign.

The new logo — which is its fifth — retains Cracker Barrel’s signature gold and brown tones, "is now rooted even more closely to the iconic barrel shape and word mark that started it all," the restaurant said in a news release posted on its website.
