Erling Haaland is back in Manchester City 's starting lineup for his first appearance in six weeks. Haaland was picked in the team to play already-relegated Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday, a week before City meet Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final.

Erling Haaland has been thrown straight back into the starting XI on his return from injury as Manchester City look to edge closer to Champions League qualification with a win over Southampton. Haaland has not featured for City since March 30 after missing six games with an ankle injury sustained in the side’s FA Cup win over Bournemouth.

The Norwegian had a hugely disappointing return to action as City failed to break down their ultra-stubborn hosts in a shock 0-0 stalemate
