As spotted by IcyMeeting1051 and Rampo on Reddit, Young Pauline can be seen doing the same dance step in Donkey Kong Bananza as she did in Super Mario Odyssey as well as the classic Donkey Kong. Of course, the original version wasn't a dance, but just some random sprite movement to make kidnapped Pauline look lifelike.

After playing Donkey Kong Bananza, it sure seems like the game is a prequel to Super Mario Odyssey, and the DK series as a whole.

As Donkey Kong, you can punch forward, upward, and downward, each with a different face button. You’ll rip out a chunk of the ground beneath by pressing ZR. Pressing and holding the button again will let you aim your throw, either with the right stick or with motion controls.
