A Cape Canaveral plumber suspected of cashing more than $33,000 in stolen checks from a Cocoa Beach woman was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, Cocoa Beach police reported.
Corrections Officer David Kingsley was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Robert Brooks. He was sentenced to life in prison.
