Detroit has brought back its bad boy defense, ranking second in the NBA in defensive rating, and 10th in offensive. The Pistons are one of five teams to rank top 10 in both offensive and defensive rating (Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, Timberwolves). The Thunder have really struggled offensively this season in lineups without Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams, and Caruso. In those configurations, the Thunder have posted a 106.1 offensive rating ( 4th percentile ). The defense is still formidable with a 107.9 defensive rating ( 93rd percentile ), which has helped keep them afloat.
