New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has continued his efforts to support cellphone bans in New Jersey schools. On Feb. 19, Murphy toured Woodbury Junior-Senior High School to learn more about their cellphone policy. He's announced that his proposal for the 2026 fiscal year would dedicate $3 million to support phone-free grants for New Jersey schools.
