Report Builder RC0 was first released as part of SQL Server 2008 RC0, but it was not included in SQL Server 2008 RTM.

Testing out Report Builder in SQL Server 2008 RTM proved uneventful. The good news was that everything worked, even after an in-place upgrade.

Note – Report Builder 2.0 is not installed along with the SQL Server Reporting Services, but is available as a free download in the SQL Server 2008 feature pack.

To use the SSRS 2008 Report Builder (and/or SSRS 2008 Reporting Services), you still have to buy licenses for all of SQL 2008 appropriate for the environment.<BR><BR>We are currently running ...
