Adding headers and footers to a Microsoft Word document is easy, even if you have a mix of header needs. Susan Harkins will show you how.
If you run into a conditional header or footer request that you can't handle, take a look at Word fields. They're not magic, but it kind of feels like magic when they do what you want.
Click on the Design tab, and then click Different First Page. This allows you to add your running head to the title page only. Type the desired running head in the header field.
