Restart your computer to have the system use the new paging file. Run Disk Defragmenter on the original drive to consolidate the free space segments created by moving the paging file.
Defragmenting disks used to be a big thing back in the day. I certainly remember doing it every now and then on my PC back in the mid-2000s, and it felt like it really helped spedd up your PC.
