President Donald Trump posted to social media early on Wednesday regarding the ongoing search for a gunman who killed two students at Brown University last weekend.

The hunt for the shooter that left two students dead and nine injured at one of the nation’s top universities stretches into a fifth day.

Last Saturday, two people were killed and nine others wounded at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, after a gunman dressed in black entered the Ivy League school's engineering building during final exams and began firing.

In several zoomed-in videos police say were captured on the East Side of Providence approximately two hours before the shooting, the person of interest is seen walking on a sidewalk and looking around.

Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the individual, "who was in proximity of the person of interest," according to a press release sent out at 12:41 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec 17. Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha (D) on Monday said the FBI “got over their skis” after a person was arrested and then released in connection with a shooting at Brown University on Saturday that left two people dead and at least nine injured.
