The Atlanta Poetry Community will host “The Man. The Me.” on July 30, 2025, at City Winery Atlanta to honor the life and legacy of Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

Warner was a warrior on a mission for awareness, as he showed in 2023 when he performed his poetry for the Minnesota Orchestra — and he did that with Minnesota stars by his side, posing with Vikings legend and former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page and musician Jevetta Steele.
