It's the news no-one wanted to hear - Grand Theft Auto 6's release date has been pushed back to next year.

Grand Theft Auto VI was already arriving more than a decade after Grand Theft Auto V's 2013 release, but the wait just got even longer.

Grand Theft Auto VI is by far the most anticipated game, and indeed, media property, in the world, so the news of its delay will come as a huge blow to fans of the franchise. Originally planned for release in the autumn of 2025, it has now been pushed back to 26th May, 2026.
