Videos show the impacts of the attacks and Tehran’s subsequent retaliation across the Middle East

The attack is the latest in a series of retaliatory actions by Iran following US-Israeli strikes on its territory.

The United States unleashed an array of weaponry against Iranian targets on Saturday, including Tomahawk cruise missiles, stealth fighters, and for the first time in combat, low-cost one-way attack drones modeled after Iranian designs.

More than 100,000 Australians are in the Middle East, and the federal government is now warning people not to travel to Qatar or the UAE, both of which are major travel hubs. Australians in both of those countries, as well as Iran and Israel, can now register with the government's crisis portal. 

The US and Israeli militaries launched strikes against Iran with hundreds of aircraft and numerous munitions.

US Central Command released video Saturday of American missiles obliterating various targets in Iran. The dramatic footage shows Tomahawk cruise missiles being launched from a US Navy vessel and various types of fighter jets taking off from a ship.

The deadliest single incident occurred in the city of Minab in southeastern Iran, where a strike on an elementary girls school reportedly killed at least 148 people and injured 95. The attack occurred on Saturday, and the death toll has been climbing since.

Footage shows an Iranian drone on fire, spinning out of control and hurtling towards the ground in Kuwait. Since the US attacks on Iran on Saturday, Iran has launched several attacks on nearby countries, including Kuwait.
