Prior to Friday’s Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss, there was some off-field controversy that dominated headlines. A pair of fans allegedly broke into the Rebels’ locker room inside Starkville’s Davis Wade Stadium and stole quarterback Trinidad Chambliss‘ jersey.

Trinidad Chambliss threw for 359 yards and four touchdowns, and No. 6 Mississippi rolled through Mississippi State 38-19 in the Battle for the Golden Egg.
