Dove hunting’s second season in Arizona starts Friday. Whereas the early season, which started Sept. 1, was only 15 days, this one goes much longer, lasting 45 days and running through Jan. 4.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Arizona has a brief period of dove-hunting every year and early season begins today. The Arizona Game and Fish Department says the early season runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 15.
