Chubb (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders after practicing fully Thursday and Friday.
The Houston Texans delivered a significant update regarding Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb following a report on his status.
Several players didn’t practice Wednesday, including All-Pro corner Derek Stingley Jr. (oblique) and starting corner Kamari Lassiter, middle linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (ankle), defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (elbow, shoulder), offensive tackle Trent Brown (broken finger), linebacker E.J. Speed (knee), defensive end Denico Autry (knee).
Against the Chiefs, Chubb handled his lowest touches (one) and yards (three) of the year as he would be sidelined for most of the day, with veteran captain Dare Ogunbowale claiming a red zone touchdown in his place.
Texans running back Nick Chubb returned to practice on Wednesday. Chubb, who missed last Sunday's game with an injury to his ribs, was limited. Running back Woody Marks, who injured his ankle in the victory over the Cardinals, was a non-participant to open the practice week.
