Elden Campbell, the all-time leading scorer in Clemson basketball history, who went on to play 15 seasons in the NBA and won a ring as part of the 2004 Detroit Pistons, has died at the age of 57.

Elden Campbell, the leading scorer in Clemson basketball history who later won an NBA title, died Tuesday.

The 6-foot-11 center spent 8 1/2 seasons playing for the team he grew up watching from 1990 to 1999, playing alongside NBA legends Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal.
