Following its initial announcement last week, Roblox will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on October 10, Roblox Corporation announced.

Roblox is cross platform on PS4 and PS5 as they both use the same version of the game, and broadly Roblox is crossplay compatible across all formats.

Roblox Corporation will release Roblox for Quest later in September, followed by PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store in October, the company announced.

Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan has said that he's hoping to get Roblox on PS5 in the near future.

It looks like Roblox PS4 and PS5 versions are all but confirmed. The company is specifically looking for a PlayStation engineer.
