Bronny James is not going to be with the Los Angeles Lakers coming out of the NBA All-Star break. The Lakers announced on Thursday that James is being assigned to the South Bay Lakers in the G League. South Bay has a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday against the Texas Legends in Frisco.
Since “We Want Bronny” echoed through Barclays Center, Bronny James has not played in the last two games. His minutes per game, 6.7, are the lowest among current Lakers on the roster.
Lakers defeated the Nets 125-109, led by LeBron’s 25 points and Reaves’ return. Bronny James received loud “Bronny” chants and scored during late-game minutes in Brooklyn. Bronny continues to be a fan favorite, contributing despite limited playing time
