Winter storm and blizzard warnings are in effect across much of Wisconsin as heavy snow, sleet, and freezing rain continue to move through the state.
Airports in Washington, D.C., and along the Northeastern corridor led the list of flight cancellations today as a major winter storm and blizzard hit the region. There were 5,685 flights within, into or out of the United States today that were canceled, according to tracking website FlightAware.
Do-not-travel warnings already are being issued for a storm that could set some impressive 2-day snow totals. Winds up to 70 mph are forcast.
