MrBeast's successful entry into traditional television with Beast Games is evidence of the changing nature of streaming entertainment.

Beast Games has set a record for Prime Video, becoming the streamer’s most-watched unscripted series ever in its first 25 days. According to Prime Video, the series has racked up 50M viewers globally in that time frame. That also makes it the second most-watched and second most acquisitive new series of 2024, behind only Fallout.

The competition hosted and devised by Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson is one of Prime Video's biggest releases of 2024, the streamer says.

Now, Beast Games has finally been dethroned for the first time since launch by a new Amazon Original Series, On Call, a police drama that dropped all its episodes at once in a binge model just a few days ago, something of a rarity for Amazon. Here’s the synopsis:
