Hugo Gonzalez isn’t playing every game for the Celtics as he navigates his rookie season. But whenever his number is called, he’s gives the game an injection of energy. That was again the case as the Celtics blew out the Wizards 146-101 on Thursday from Capital One Arena.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Derrick White scored a season-high 30 points, Jordan Walsh added a career-high 22 and the Boston Celtics, playing without Jaylen Brown, routed the Washington Wizards 146-101 on Thursday night.

Outside of strong start in Cleveland filling in for Queta over the weekend, Tillman has largely been missing in action over the past few weeks for Joe Mazzulla. He played just 13 total minutes for the rest of November outside of his 30 on Sunday and he hasn’t been seen since once Queta has returned to the lineup.

Both the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards may be without multiple key players in Thursday night's matchup.

The Washington Wizards are entering their matchup against the Boston Celtics with a plethora of injuries.

Jaylen Brown will indeed miss a game for the first time this season as the Celtics play the Wizards at 7 p.m. Thursday. Brown was downgraded from doubtful to out due to an illness. Jayson Tatum also remains out due to his Achilles rehab.
