Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz suffered what appeared to be a significant chest injury in Pittsburgh’s Saturday preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kuntz missed the rest of the game. The Steelers signed a second long snapper on Monday.

The Steelers are adding some depth to their defense. Pittsburgh is signing cornerback Kam Alexander, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Alexander went undrafted this spring out of Oregon. After spending time in rookie minicamp with the Seahawks and Falcons, he did sign with Seattle in late July.
