Several parking bans have been issued in Rhode Island, with a few inches of snow expected around the state today.
At least two people have been killed and eight critically wounded in a shooting at Brown University. Providence, Rhode Island, Mayor Mayor Brett Smiley said those are the only known injuries and casualties.
ABC News said the person in custody is not a Brown University student. The person was detained by the FBI and local police at 3:45 a.m. at a Hampton Inn in Coventry, Rhode Island, following a tip, according to law enforcement sources and Coventry police.
