The protests were part of a global day of action at more than 500 Tesla dealers all over the world, targeting billionaire Elon Musk's role in the Trump administration's sweeping cuts to the federal government workforce.
Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly said Tesla violence should be prosecuted but declined to use the term "domestic terrorism" to describe the attacks on dealerships.
Elon Musk demonstrations took place on the same day across the US and Europe.
