"The flooding levels we're looking at are potentially historic in nature," Gov. Bob Ferguson said Thursday afternoon, urging people to listen to official advice and follow evacuation orders.

The heaviest rain will shift north into Canada Friday and Saturday, so expect rain to ease across the state of Washington. However, rivers are still running high, so it will take another day or two for water levels to come down.
