Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will coach in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game after his team clinched the best record in the Eastern Conference through Feb. 1, the league announced Saturday.

Detroit — The NBA announced on Saturday that Detroit Pistons coach J.B. Bickerstaff has earned a spot as a head coach in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. He will coach one of the three teams in the new U.S. vs. World format, set for Feb. 15.

"We know what to do in those type of situations when we're down 3," said Gonzalez.

Bickerstaff becomes the first Detroit All-Star head coach since the late Flip Saunders, who coached during the 2006 All-Star game.
