Zeek Biggers is the latest of the 2025 draftees who are turning the corner, making a significant contribution to the Dolphins’ turnaround.

The Miami Dolphins have a chance to go from 1-6 to 7-7 if they can pull an upset at the Pittsburgh Steelers on "Monday Night Football." The Dolphins received practically zero help in Sunday action as the Bills, Ravens, Chargers, Texans and Jaguars all won. The Colts did lose.

Nick Korte of Over The Cap currently projects the Dolphins not to receive a compensatory pick because the team added five players who qualify (Zach Wilson, James Daniels, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Larry Borom, Westbrook-Ikhine) and lost four (Jevón Holland, Emmanuel Ogbah, Robert Jones, and Campbell). Only teams with net losses receive picks.

The Miami Dolphins' push to climb back into playoff contention is running out of time. Miami is in need of a minor miracle from elsewhere across the AFC while also needing to double their current 4-game win streak in order to have any shot at the postseason.

Miami Dolphins rookie guard Jonah Savaiinaea has improved significantly in the second half of the season. Coaches and teammates credit his improvement to diligent film study and a better understanding of defensive schemes.

In hindsight, maybe the Dolphins didn't need to make the trade; they're 4-0 since the deadline. Regardless, the position has gotten weaker, and ESPN's Field Yates predicted they'll target edge in the 2026 NFL Draft. With the projected 12th overall pick, Yates has Miami picking Auburn edge Keldric Faulk.
